Payment and Refund
The price for the Kyiv UrbexTours is paid either in full when booking online (Credit/Debitcard) or in cash at the meeting point. If taking the cash option, after submitting the application for the tour you must make an advance payment, equal to 25%. On the meeting point of the tour you must have the exact amount of the rest of your payment. The sum is paid either in EUR, USD or UAH.
 
If you discover that you are not able to participate in an already prepaid tour – don’t worry: Urban Tour have made the options to refund your money.
    • if you cancel your booking more than 10 days before the tour date, we refund you all the amount paid;
    • if you cancel your booking 10 days – 24 hours before the tour start, we do not refund your 25% prepayment.
    • if you cancel your booking less than 24 hours before tour start, the cost of the trip is NOT reimbursed

The cost of refund money transfer is paid by the client.
If we have to break the tour due to a participant’s wish or fault the cost of the trip is NOT reimbursed.
Safety and Legacy
During Urbex Tours you will not offend any Ukrainian law. Visiting underground tunnels systems in Kyiv is not prohibited. Our team of explorers are in collaboration with local government about history and tunnels.

We are running tours since 2012 and didn’t have any accidents which led to the injury of participants. In case of any scratches you can get during the tour the urbex guide all the time keep professional first aid kit.
General

Below you can read important legal provisions. We strongly recommend you to get acquainted with them. Otherwise, you will not be aware of the provisions under which all your purchases on the site fall but you accept the following provisions.

1. Contract

Orders are made through us – hereinafter in the text, you will meet “we” as Urbex Tour ™.

If you decide to book something on our website, you automatically agree to the following terms and conditions. This also applies to those you represent if you are not booking for yourself. All confirmations are indicated on the invoice, while changes to the invoice are not considered valid unless they are made directly by our management.

2. Price Rules

2.1 Prices

a) Prices and exchange rates — All prices are current, subject to conversion at the current rate from our company. It is logical that the exchange rate will fluctuate with the currency movement in a market that is not dependent on us.

b) Price changes — Prices on the site can be changed if our employee does it. We are not obliged to warn about price changes, if you have booked your tour in advance, then you do not need to pay the price difference. If the price drops after you have already paid for the tour, we will not refund the price difference.

c) Child rate — The child’s fare is used only during the tour, and you definitely need to have proof of age with you – a child’s birth certificate or another similar document. If an adult was issued for a children’s ticket, you will need to pay the difference before the start of active actions.

d) Per unit — All prices are per person, unless otherwise indicated separately.

e) Inclusions — You can find out more about what’s on the tour at www.urbextour.com.

f) Exclusions — Not included in the prices:

  1. Tipping – if you like everything and you will be satisfied with our services or separately the services of a guide, driver, and so on, then you can leave additional tips at your discretion. We do not leave obligatory payments, as this should be your initiative but we welcome a separate reward for good work – this is an ordinary European practice, which we hope to root in our company.
  2. Personal items for personal use – this applies to everything that you may personally want for yourself during your trip, including special foods, drinks and so on.
  3. Baggage – we recommend that you separately get insurance for your baggage to be sure that you will enjoy the trip.
  4. Local fees – if nothing else is indicated in the tour description, then additional local taxes are not included in the tour price, this applies to parking fees, security, transport tax, and others. You can check with the manager in detail.

2.2 Payments

Managers of our company always proactively contact travelers to clarify important nuances. These include convenient payment methods, including using available systems – Wester Union or Money Gram for bank transfers or online funds of Fondy, including via Visa and MasterCard, or using cash on the spot.

3. No-shows or abolotion

3.1 Caused by the traveller

a) Abolition fee – such a fee can be applied to any traveler if he suddenly decided to cancel this or that service. There are special rules for the amount of collection and its size, depending on the circumstances. They are in the following rules:

  • If you make a cancellation two days before the trip or more, then we will refund you all the money
  • If you make a cancellation less than two days before the trip, then we will not refund your money.

b) Unused parts of the tours – even if you decide to refuse part of the trip in the process, we will not refund your funds, as this is your personal decision. The funds paid for the full trip will remain with us in compensation.

3.2 Caused by us

There are a number of force majeure circumstances that force us to cancel tours. This usually happens in rare cases due to a difficult political situation or because of natural disasters, or something similar in scale to destructiveness. If our tour is canceled on our initiative, you can fully return your money or reschedule the tour to another time, it depends on your preference. If the reasons for canceling the tour were circumstances beyond our control, the return will be less, so we recommend that you simply reschedule the tour to a comfortable date. At the same time, we are not responsible for your excessive costs of visas, vaccinations, insurance, and other travel-related goods and services.

3.3 Traveller ought

a) According to paragraph 3.1 of this agreement, if you have a desire to change the conditions of your reservation, then you need to abandon the previous one and confirm the new one. Any difference in price is not taken into account, a new reservation is made at a price that is current at the time of creating a new reservation.

3.4 Urbex Tour ™ ought

Most of our tours in most cases fully follow the intended route, however, some special conditions should be stipulated. Routes for each tour are pre-arranged but some conditions may change in accordance with circumstances or events – this applies to stops, modes of transport and general amenities. If possible, we make all changes before the start of the trip and inform our customers about possible inconsistencies but in the end, we reserve the right to make changes.

 

4. Confirms

a) Confirmation — Once you complete the payment process, you will receive a confirmed official voucher for your trip to the email address provided during registration.

b) Voucher — To start the trip, you must present the original voucher, if you can not do this for any reason, we have the right to refuse to travel for the reason described above.

 

5. Your Urbex Tour

5.1 Confirmation by participant

We strongly recommend that you confirm your reservation in advance – it is best to do this one day before the start of the trip. Let the leader of your group confirm all the conditions so that there are no unforeseen situations and misunderstandings.

5.2 Timeliness

It is strictly necessary to adhere to the time indicated on your voucher. We always follow the schedule, so take care of your punctuality. If it’s obvious that you are late, be sure to warn us so that we know about the situation and help you get out of it as painlessly as possible. If you do not arrive on time and do not inform in advance, we will begin the journey without you without compensation. In the voucher you will find information about the starting points:

  1. Pick-up — If the tour starts with a transfer, then the time will always be indicated separately. Wait for a seat in the lobby until the indicated time.
  2. Meeting point — If the tour has any meeting place, then there is a pick-up time. Our recommendation is to arrive at least 10 minutes before the appointed time to avoid fuss.

5.3 Terms of response

Those who book the tour are fully responsible for their actions. You must understand that your group should not be dangerous for other travelers or our employees, should not interfere or insult all participants of the trip. Otherwise, we can remove you from the tour without refund for improper behavior.

5.4 Risks

You must be aware that even a fully thought-out journey can be risky. Visited places can be more dangerous than those that you visit daily. We always think over our routes for your comfort, however you acknowledge that you are ready to bear responsibility for yourself and monitor your safety throughout the trip.

6. Data Accuracy

If only one person books a trip for your group, he must provide the correct data. If the data is incorrect, we can cancel the reservation. The information required to provide information includes the name, email address and hotel details.

 

7. Age and Healths

a) Age requirements – we work only with adult travelers or travelers under 18 years old but accompanied by a legal guardian of the appropriate age. Throughout the trip, you will be responsible for yourself and your ward. Depending on the specific tours, a full list of which you can find on our website, the age threshold may be different. It is also important to note that the list contains tours with alcoholic beverages, the consumption of which is prohibited for everyone under the age of 18 years.

b) Health requirements – some of our tours may require physical fitness and endurance, so you should soberly assess your abilities. We do not require a full medical record but the final responsibility for your health and your condition suitable for the tour lies with you. For each tour, we describe in detail the rating of physical activity so that you can make the right decision.

8. Incurance

We insist that all our tourists are equipped with full insurance. If you do not have insurance, then you bear all costs and losses at your own risk.

9. Documents

When booking travel outside the country, you need a visa and a passport. We ask you to make sure that all your documents are ready to be used. We are not responsible if you are denied exit from the country due to problems with documents.

10. Complaints

If you have complaints and complaints, you can always discuss any aspect with our guide. If the problem persists, you can file a complaint with our company. We will review it for a month. If you file a complaint one month after the situation, the complaint will not be accepted.

11. Media

During the tour we will conduct periodic photo and video shooting. We do this to obtain promotional materials and use them on our website and other advertising resources. By agreeing to go on a trip with us, you give us a perpetual license to use the materials as we see fit.

12. Terms of use

a) By using www.urbextour.com, Urbex Tour LLC. distributors and/or affiliates, you automatically agree to our terms.

b) Traveling with us, you agree not to break the law.

c) Traveling with us is done only for personal purposes, and not to achieve commercial benefits in fraudulent schemes.

13. Privacy policy

All the data that you provide to us for a trip as part of a booking confirmation and other services, we can use to provide relevant advertising for you. This means that you can receive interesting promotional offers from us or our partners. We process and use the information received from you, in accordance with the established rules, which you can get to know better – you just need to go to the appropriate section on our website.

14. Liability and details

a) Our company leaves in your area of responsibility all possible damages and injuries, as well as losses and expenses.

b) Your health and any risks, including the risk of terrorist attacks and bad weather conditions, are not under our control, therefore we are not responsible for this.

c) All information on our resources is accurate according to our data, however, we can not guarantee the accuracy and veracity of the information on the websites of our partners and distributors. We are also not responsible for the smooth operation of their sites.

15. Indemnification

When you travel with us and work with us, you agree to indemnify us, our partners, and any other persons and companies if you make reasonable claims for expenses, property damage, fines, etc. These costs may be incurred in the event of:

a) Violations of the agreement or any of its clauses.
b) Violations of the law or human rights.
c) Use of sites (our or our partners) for commercial personal gain

16. Accordance to law

If anything specified in this provision is invalid or unenforceable for any reason, be it law or public policy, then this item will be separated and changed in accordance with the rules, while maintaining the remaining provisions of the provision.

17. Updatings

Urbex Tour ™ has and reserves the legal right to make changes to this material. We regularly update the text of the agreement depending on changes in legislation and other regulations, so you can check out the latest version on urbextour.com
